With deliberation power, the Funbio´s Board of Directors has 16 members, in equal proportions from academia, business, government and the environmental sector. The Board of Directors’ Executive Committee is responsible for more direct oversight of the organization’s programs and processes.

Funbio have one Advisory Board, composed of former members of the Board of Directors along with special guests. This body serves as a forum for discussion of important biodiversity-related issues and their impact on the Fund’s activities.

The Technical Committees are answerable to the Board of Directors. Composed by Board of Director´s and Advisory Board members, the committees are divided into the following areas: conservation, sustainability and commerce, accounting and auditing, asset management and climate change. Members of the Advisory Board serve on the committees according to their areas of interest and expertise.
